EducationiBioSeminars is being used to complement classroom teaching for undergraduates and graduate students in the United States and around the world. In this section, we selected lectures that we feel are particularly good for teaching, especially at the undergraduate level. Each of these lectures contains a good introductory lecture as well as second lecture that discusses a research problem. To facilitate use in teaching, the speaker has prepared lecture notes, a series of different types of questions, and assignments that go beyond the subject matter of the lecture. Teachers can “pick and choose” and decide which of these teaching tools might best suit their teaching style and needs. Even if the lecture is viewed outside of class, iBioSeminars is particularly effective when the teacher and students can discuss the lecture together; we have included questions to facilitate such discussions.
